1. General Information
These Terms & Conditions govern bookings and stays at Latimer Ocean Escape. By making a reservation, guests agree to comply with these terms.
2. Booking & Payment
2.1 Reservation & Payment Terms
- Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received and the guest has received a confirmation email.
2.2 Accepted Payment Methods
- We accept credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
- All prices are in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
3.1 Guest Cancellations
- Cancellations up to 30 days before arrival: Full refund.
- Cancellations between 29 and 14 days before arrival: 50% refund.
- Cancellations less than 14 days before arrival: No refund.
3.2 No-Show Policy
- If a guest fails to arrive without notice, the full booking amount will be charged.
3.3 Host Cancellations
- In the rare event that we must cancel a booking, guests will receive a full refund or alternative accommodation (subject to availability).
4. Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in: From 15:00 (3:00 PM)
- Check-out: By 10:00 AM
- Early check-in / late check-out: May be available upon request but is subject to availability.
5. House Rules
5.1 Guest Responsibilities
- Maximum number of guests: 4
- No smoking inside the property.
- No parties or excessive noise after 11:00 PM and before 7:00 AM, in accordance with legal quiet hours in England.
- Pets are not allowed.
5.2 Property Care & Missing Items
- Guests are expected to treat the property with care and leave it in a reasonable condition upon departure.
- Our cleaner conducts an inventory check after every stay. The inventory list is available to all guests in the Guest Information provided at the property.
- If any items are damaged or missing, we will be notified by our cleaner, and guests will be held responsible for replacement costs.
- While we may not request a security deposit through platforms like Booking.com or Airbnb, guests acknowledge that any loss or damage may result in additional charges through the booking platform.
6. Liability & Disclaimer
6.1 Guest Liability
- Guests stay at their own risk. The host is not responsible for personal injuries, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
6.2 Property Liability
- While we strive to provide a perfect stay, we are not liable for unforeseen issues such as power outages, internet disruptions, or maintenance issues.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
- Guest information is collected only for booking purposes and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Personal data will never be shared with third parties.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
- Any disputes will be handled in the courts of England.
